SMDA Inc.
Founder Shanna Kerr of SMDA Inc, approached us looking to increase visibility for her boutique, high-end residential and hospitality firm.
Her website was dated, felt flat and didn’t communicate the breadth of experience that Kerr had earned working for large hospitality firms and on luxury residential estates with leading architects for high profile clients.
Kerr started with an intensive, that allowed her to gain clarity on the kinds of projects she was interested in completing, her idea client and a preliminary marketing strategy for how to reach them.
We helped her narrow down which of her completed projects were relevant to document and recommended several industry photographers to help her document finished projects. We also recommended a brand photographer to do portraits.
Kerr’s Visibility Strategy included a plan for lead generation, a loyalty program, a social media strategy and additional marketing tactics both on and offline.
For select Brand Management clients, we introduce designer talent to Editors across multiple channels, winning placements in digital and print publications.
Next we moved onto press. Over a four month period, we pitched multiple publications, secured five placements and warm introductions to two Editors who now have Kerr on their watchlist. We also secured a panel during Fall Market Week 2018 at The Pacific Design Center, the West Coast’s leading resource for the traditional and contemporary residential and contract products in association with luxury, outdoor furniture manufacturer Dedon.
